On March 19, 2019, the minister delegate for European affairs, George Ciamba, representing the EU Council Presidency, chaired a new meeting of the General Affairs Council in Brussels. The main items on the agenda were a new debate on the future Multiannual Financial Framework 2021-2027 and the preparation of the Spring European Council.
